Ahh.. what a fun 2 weeks it’s been running Tape Wars™ 1984. I hope you’ve enjoyed the trip back to that magical year of music.
So many great songs. So many unforgettable memories.
After The Reflex narrowly defeated Jump by ONLY 4 VOTES!! (closest battle evaaah!!), here are the FINAL 2 songs going for the title.
🕊️ When Doves Cry by Prince
vs.
💪 The Reflex by Duran Duran
Both songs (and artists) have millions of fans, so this will be a close one…
The winner will be revealed tomorrow!
I’m working on software so the next round we can possibly have leaderboards, go for a perfect bracket and maybe—gulp!—even prizes. Stay tuned for the craziness.
Oh yeah, speaking of craziness—our 80s countdowns, mixtapes and games never stop. Two to three a day, 7 days a week (who needs sleep?).
Watch for another fun one tonight at 8:30pm EST on your favorite social platform (@ryanleeshow) because we’re featuring 10 songs from artists from… well… you’ll see!
Because we’re on the B-Side of life and just getting warmed-up.
Let’s Play,
Ryan
